UK Adults now holding more Cryptoassets

This information comes from the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority and states that 2.3 million adult Brits hold cryptoassets compared to 1.9 million last year. 71% of respondents could only identify the definition of cryptocurrency from a list of statements which means the knowledge is still not there.

Another survey of U.K. independent financial advisers, 95% said they would not advise clients to invest in crypto or meme stocks, such as GameStop. The video-game retailer’s shares went from $18 to $483 in January, driven by Reddit forum WallStreetBets.
